Unsubscribe
Newsletters you never read, and a one-click way out of each, with your approval.
How senders are suggested
Once a day ActiValet looks for senders that sent you at least 3 emails in 30 days, were filed as newsletters or sales mail at least twice, and that you never replied to. The sender must be verified by Microsoft and offer a one-click unsubscribe. VIPs, security notices, approvals and conversations are never suggested. Find suggestions now runs the search straight away; it can take up to 2 minutes.
What happens when you approve
- ActiValet uses the sender's own one-click unsubscribe.
- If that works, a rule moves any later mail from that sender to Deleted Items, in case they keep sending.
- If you tick the box, it also moves that sender's mail from the last 30 days (up to 100 messages) to Deleted Items.
Keep getting these dismisses a suggestion. If an unsubscribe fails, you can still have that sender's mail moved to Deleted Items. Deleted Items is a folder in your mailbox; ActiValet doesn't empty it.
